Sage & Barrel delivers excellent food with a creative twist on Midwest staples, executed with care and flavor. The service is warm and attentive, making it an easy fit for everything from family dinners to date night—casual or dressed up, you’ll feel right at home. Don’t skip the onion rings they’re a must. Add in rotating seasonal specials and some standout seasonal mixology, and Sage & Barrel becomes a place you’ll want to return to often.

We've been here two times now. The first time we were a little drunk so we tried it again... Amazing. The prices resemble a ma' and pa' shop, and yet the flavor resembles a fine dining experience. Today we had Cynthia as our waitress and just like our first time, the waiting was great. Friendly, nice, and refills on the drink were always on time. I've paid a lot more money at other restaurants for less service and taste than here. Please give them your business.

This was our first visit since the space reopened as Sage & Barrel, and I really loved the new atmosphere—it’s a pretty setting with a fresh, inviting feel. Service was good, and the happy hour drink prices were especially appealing. Food prices felt fairly average for today’s restaurant standards, but unfortunately the quality didn’t quite match the pricing on this visit. My husband and I shared a side Caesar salad, a Margherita flatbread, and an order of sweet and spicy fish and chips, and overall the dishes were just okay. That said, we do plan to return and I’m hopeful that trying a different dish next time will leave a stronger impression.

1st time here and we will definitely be back! Beautiful restaurant, has a gothic cool vibe! The drinks were delicious and the food was spectacular! Our server Nick was spot on with recommendations and his service was great! 10/10

Overall rating of 4 was based purely upon the food. Salmon was dry which overshadowed the unique flavor. Brussel spouts are awesome, a punch of flavor. Service and atmosphere are great. FYI. Winter Seasonal sangria is not a traditional fruity sangria.

Was very impressed with this place. The portion sizes and value are great. The service was very friendly. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our food and date night. We both loved the cheese curds. The salmon was cooked literally perfectly. One critique would be the acoustics were kinda echoy in the place. Sounded a bit off. Not sure how to fix that but it could use a sound engineer to figure out the space.

Love this place! Zach was our server tonight and he was amazing! We’ve been here several times now and we love it. I have had the bruschetta chicken twice and it’s absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a great place to meet up with friends or just a date night, this place is always on point.

We had a fantastic time here. We were celebrating a birthday and had a table of 9. We got there before the dinner rush. Our server was a professional. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and food allergies. This place had beautiful decor. The black trim inside was gorgeous.
